What uptime guarantee is realistic for transit hub LED displays?
Aurora transport display systems are designed for 24/7 continuous operation. With redundant processing, ring-topology signal paths and local spare-parts inventory, planned uptime above 99.9% is achievable on a correctly specified system. Aurora provides SLA-backed service contracts aligned to the operational requirements of transport authority and operator procurement.
Can Aurora displays integrate with real-time passenger information systems?
Yes. Aurora LED displays are content-source agnostic and connect to any real-time passenger information (RTPI) system, transit data feed or CMS that outputs a standard video or IP signal. We have experience integrating with GTFS, SIRI and proprietary transport authority feeds as part of complete display system scopes.
What Australian standards apply to transport hub LED signage?
Transport hub LED displays must carry RCM marking to AS/NZS 62368 (electrical safety) and comply with AS/NZS CISPR 32 (EMC). Outdoor platform and shelter displays must be IP-rated (minimum IP54 for sheltered outdoor, IP65 for fully exposed). Displays in enclosed spaces must also comply with BCA/NCC ventilation and egress requirements. Aurora provides full compliance documentation for transport authority procurement.
