Who we are

A small AU team with a big project footprint.

Aurora Signage is the Australian arm of the Aurora Displays Group — a commonly-owned group of companies with manufacturing in China, a trading office in Hong Kong, and an engineering, install and service operation here in Adelaide.

The AU team handles everything from initial customer specifications through structural and electrical engineering, project management, commissioning and ongoing warranty service. We also develop the in-house software platform — Builder Series — that underpins how we design and deliver screens.

We are a lean team. Roles here carry genuine responsibility from day one. You work directly with the people running the business — not through layers of middle management.

What we work on

  • Supply and deliver large-format LED video walls, billboards and scoreboards across Australia.
  • Engineer structural, electrical and mechanical solutions for Australian sites and codes.
  • Develop in-house software — ScreenBuilder, FrameBuilder, PCBBuilder — that powers the LED design and delivery pipeline.
  • Build and support AI agents used internally by the Aurora team and offered to clients.
  • Partner with AV integrators, architects and government agencies on some of the most complex LED projects in the country.

These are not values painted on a wall. They are the things we look for in every hire and the standard we hold each other to.

Own the outcome

We are a small team delivering large-format installs. Every person owns their piece end-to-end — from the initial spec through to commissioning sign-off and warranty. No one passes the parcel.

Be technically honest

We say nits, not lumens. We disclose the onshore/offshore split in plain language. The same standard applies internally — we prefer accurate hard conversations over comfortable approximations.

Build to last

LED screens run for a decade in the field. We engineer them — and our processes — accordingly. Shortcuts that reduce a delivery timeline but create a warranty headache two years later are not acceptable.

We are a growth-stage company. The people here now are shaping the systems, processes and culture that the next wave of hires will inherit. That is a responsibility we take seriously.

What to expect if you join.

Adelaide-based

Our head office is in Marleston, SA. The core engineering and project team is Australia-based, working in Australian time zones — no split-shift arrangements or overnight calls as the default.

Direct access

You will work directly with the people making decisions. There is no corporate hierarchy between you and the people running projects, developing product or managing client relationships.

Technical depth

We do not generalise as a competitive strategy. We go deep on LED technology, engineering codes, control systems and software. Curiosity and technical rigour are valued more than title.

Growth-stage reality

We are building the processes and systems as we grow. That means genuine ownership and visible impact — and also some rough edges that you may be the person who fixes.

Group exposure

Working at Aurora Signage means regular collaboration with the Aurora Displays team in China and the HK trading office. International projects, manufacturing oversight and cross-border coordination are part of the work.

Long-form projects

LED display projects run for months from first brief to commissioning. The satisfaction is in seeing a complex screen wall on a stadium or landmark building — and knowing exactly how it got there.
