Aurora Signage
Aurora LED installation in the field
Product Range Guide · v2.0

A Range for You.
Three Tiers. One Standard.

Not all LED is the same — even when the spec sheet says it is. Aurora's three product ranges are deliberately built around a good · better · best framework so the right hardware is matched to every application. No "one size fits all". No compromise on what matters.

LUX — Premium
V-SPEC — Standard
GSR — Value
The Aurora Philosophy

Built for Fit,
Not Forced to Fit

Aurora has spent more than a decade in product testing and practical implementation across export markets. SMT production process, certified hardware, batch control, lamp grade, driver IC selection, PCB design — every variable has been deliberately tuned for each product range so customers don't have to.

The result is three ranges that genuinely target different application classes — from mission-critical premium installs through to budget-driven projects — without ever compromising the underlying engineering standard.

"If a product range isn't suitable for a particular application, it simply isn't offered in that range."

That's the Aurora rule. It protects the customer from a wrong-fit install and protects the brand from poor performance in environments the hardware was never built for.

The Three Ranges

LUX, V-SPEC and GSR at a Glance

Each range shares the same Aurora engineering DNA — premium IC chipsets, thick-wafer PCBs, certified compliance, and Aurora's easy-to-use mounting systems. What changes is the grade of componentry, the brightness ceiling, and the depth of the construction and quality programme behind it.

Which Range Fits the Job?

Each Aurora range has been specifically designed to cover applications that differ in size, complexity, ambient temperatures, weather, warranty, cost and performance. Use the guide below to narrow down quickly.

Pick LUX When

Mission-Critical & Long-Life

  • Installation needs to outlast a 5–10 year service horizon
  • On-site warranty response is non-negotiable
  • Outdoor environment demands true IP68, weather-sealed cabinets
  • Brightness above 5,500 cd/m² is required (indoor or outdoor)
  • Slim-depth retrofit (down to 22 mm) is part of the brief
  • Custom outdoor sizes are needed for site-specific mounting
  • Premium colour fidelity, edge uniformity and pre-calibration matter
  • End client expects flagship-grade hardware (sport, broadcast, retail flagship, control room)
  • Optimal scan rates are required — or even static scan modes for outdoor applications
  • Customised louvres are needed to optimise the application use case
Pick V-SPEC When

Standard Pro Install

  • You're building a typical commercial install with a 3–5 year service plan
  • Up to 8,000 cd/m² outdoor brightness is enough
  • Fine-pitch indoor pitches (0.9–1.8 mm) are required for video walls or control rooms
  • Curved cabinet capability is needed
  • You want LUX-grade engineering DNA at a mid-market price
  • The reseller / integrator needs a competitive but credible standard product
  • The default choice when neither extreme of the ladder is justified
Pick GSR When

Budget-Led & Price-Driven

  • Price is the primary tender driver
  • Outdoor brightness up to 6,500 cd/m² is sufficient
  • Return-to-base warranty is acceptable to the end client
  • Application is shorter-life or lower-criticality (campaign, secondary screen, indoor info)
  • Reseller is competing against entry-level imports and needs an Aurora-backed price option
  • End client values value-for-money over premium componentry
  • On-site SLA and extended warranty are not required

Range Suffixes in the SKU Code

Every cabinet model code ends in a single-letter range suffix so the tier is immediately readable from the SKU. The format is LDC-{Width}x{Height}-{Pitch}{Tech}-{Modifier}-{Range}.
