How we handle the personal information you share with Aurora Signage.

Who we are

Aurora Signage ("Aurora", "we", "us", "our") designs and manufactures LED display systems for customers across Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you request a quote, contact our team, subscribe to updates, attend an event we host, or otherwise interact with our sales, support and project teams. This typically includes your name, business name, role, email address, phone number, project location and the project requirements you describe to us.

We collect technical information automatically when you visit aurorasignage.com.au, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL and time of access. We use first-party cookies and analytics to understand which pages and products are useful so we can improve them.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) and we do not sell personal information.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver and support installations, manage warranty and service requests, send transactional communications related to your project, comply with legal obligations, and improve our products, website and customer experience.

Disclosure to third parties

We disclose personal information only to the extent necessary to deliver our services. This may include freight and installation partners working on your project, payment and credit-check providers, IT and communications service providers (including cloud hosting and CRM platforms based in Australia and overseas), and professional advisers.

Storage and security

Personal information is stored in access-controlled systems hosted in Australia and other reputable jurisdictions. We use encryption in transit, role-based access, audit logging and regular security reviews to protect against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting and warranty obligations.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing privacy@aurorasignage.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, and will not charge a fee for reasonable access requests.

Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact our privacy officer at privacy@aurorasignage.com.au with the details. We will investigate and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
