Transparent FAQ

Transparent questions Aurora gets asked most

What does "transparent" actually mean for an LED display?
A transparent LED panel is built from narrow LED strips with open spaces between, letting natural light pass through while the LEDs themselves remain visible. From a distance the screen reads as solid content; up close, the architecture or product behind it stays visible. Typical transparency is 60–85%.
Where does transparent LED outperform standard LED?
Anywhere you can't sacrifice the view behind — retail glass, atrium glazing, exhibition stands, hotel windows, transparent-stand stadium signage. It also keeps weight and structural load down because there's no solid back panel.
How is transparent LED installed in a glass facade?
Aurora transparent panels mount to the inside face of glazing with hidden brackets and a remote control gear box, so cabling stays out of view. Site survey covers glass type, structural fixings and ventilation as part of scoping.
