iSCORE doesn't just live in the cloud — it runs natively on the LED processor itself, and ties into purpose-built I/O hardware for the stuff a touchscreen can't do (yet).

Hardware I/O · Raspberry Pi bridge

Real buttons, real sirens — wired straight into the score engine.

For courtside and field-side venues we add a Raspberry Pi I/O bridge that gives iSCORE physical inputs and outputs — a literal "scored" button on the operator's bench, a wall-mounted siren that fires at full-time, override switches for the timer. Tactile, instant, no fumbling on a touchscreen mid-play.

  • Hard-wired event buttons
    Big tactile inputs — "+1", "Goal", "Foul", "Reset" — wired through the Pi to iSCORE. Score the play without looking down at a phone.
  • Siren & klaxon triggering
    Drive 12V/24V relay outputs to fire a buzzer or stadium siren at end-of-quarter, end-of-game or on a manual button press.
  • Cause-and-effect rules
    Map any input to any iSCORE event — e.g. "score button" both adds the goal and triggers the siren in one press.
  • Plays nicely with existing kit
    Works alongside scorebench consoles, foot pedals and external timing systems — iSCORE just becomes the brain that listens to all of them.

iSCORE — frequently asked questions

Which sports does iSCORE support out of the box?
iSCORE ships with ready-made templates for basketball, soccer / football, AFL, rugby, netball, cricket, hockey and volleyball. Each template covers the score, timer, period, fouls and team naming controls a scorer needs on game day, and you can switch between sports from the same control panel without new hardware.
Can we design a custom scoreboard layout for our club or sport?
Yes. The Custom Template Builder is fully drag-and-drop — you can position scores, clocks, logos, sponsors and backgrounds anywhere on the canvas, save the layout to your asset library and reuse it across seasons. There is no separate design tool or template fee.
Will iSCORE work with our existing Aurora LED scoreboard?
Yes. iSCORE publishes natively to every Aurora LED display — indoor, outdoor, video wall and dedicated scoreboard cabinets — across multiple aspect ratios. If you already run an Aurora screen, iSCORE drives it from any browser, tablet or touchscreen with a Wi-Fi or LAN connection.
Does iSCORE integrate with PlayHQ or other scoring platforms?
iSCORE includes PlayHQ integration so basketball, netball and other PlayHQ-managed competitions can pull live game state automatically rather than re-keying scores. We can also discuss custom integrations for state and national governing bodies as part of the implementation.
How is iSCORE priced compared to traditional scoreboard systems?
iSCORE is a cloud subscription rather than a proprietary hardware bundle. Plans cover monthly, annual, single-venue and multi-venue licences, with custom enterprise pricing for councils and large operators. Current pricing is published at iscore.cloud, and the Aurora team can quote it bundled with a new LED scoreboard install.
Who can operate iSCORE on game day?
iSCORE is designed for volunteers, game-day staff and venue operators — not just AV technicians. The control panel is touchscreen-friendly, auto-saves templates and supports multi-device viewing, so a parent, score bench or duty manager can pick it up with minimal training.
